Presentation of the CEA
|
The Compagnie des Experts Agrées (CEA), society created in France in 1936, federates all the loss adjusters working within the application of an Insurance contract and holding an Agrément, Qualification or Certification degree.
The purpose of the CEA is study the evolution of all the questions regarding the profession of the Chartered loss adjusters having passed the Agrément, Qualification or Certification Exams , including:
- ethics,
- training,
- organisation of the profession with regards to the public authorities, the insurers and the insured companies;
- representation of the profession in France, Europe and worldwide.
Loss adjusters who are members of the CEA intervene in the settlement of losses such as:
- property (fire, industrial and natural catastrophes, theft, water damages, machinery breakdown…) ;
- product and public liability ;
- financial ;
- construction (Contractor’s All Risks, construction damage…) ;
- transport ;
- legal protection.
The CEA participates in the evolution of the profession in fields such as mass losses, damages to international companies, natural and industrial catastrophes.
It supports and improves qualities of its members that are :
- technical,
- fair and
- communicating.
The CEA organises through CEA DEVELOPMENT continuous professional training and a yearly training session to prepare the loss adjusters and loss assessors to the Certification examination.
It is a member of the special committee consulted by CNPP.
It is a founding member of the FEDERATION DES EXPERTS.
It is a founding member of the FUEDI.
